Terrazzo is a marble base floor which can be either in situ or tiles. Very few companies in the South can provide this service and we are pleased to be the leaders in this field. We have a proven record and many references to provide.

Marble tiles

Marble tiles have been used for floors and walls for generations offering a subtle beauty that’s impossible to match. The popular impression is a highly polished formal floor, but marble is available in a selection of alternative finishes. It offers a highly durable and attractive flooring surface for almost any application.

Limestone tiles

Limestone tiles are a truly natural flooring option and are formed as sedimentary rock. It is formed by the crystallisation of water, or by the accumulation of shell and shell fragments. Limestone has been used as a building material for many generations and is gaining popularity as a sophisticated flooring material which offers timeless qualities which is only possible with natural materials.

Granite

Granite is the hardest of all building stones with a very dense grain, making it virtually impervious and unique applicable for any interior use. If polished, its high gloss finish will endure even in harsh environments. These characteristics are ideal for flooring. The use of granite is almost limitless from a kitchen worktop to floors and walls. It offers an elegant and practical solution to many design issues.

Slate is both beautiful and practical. At Acorn Building Contracts Ltd, we have different variants of slate floors and wall tiles for DIY installation, or we can provide professional fitting service.
